1. General Booking Terms

​

• All bookings must be made through our official booking system or directly with a Habitat Studios team member.

• Payment is required in advance to secure your session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• By booking a rehearsal session, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and all members of your group.

 

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the session start time will be refunded via Jammed Credits in full.

• Rescheduling is subject to availability and follows the same time‑based rules as cancellations.

• No‑shows are charged at full rate.

 

3. Arrival & Session Times

​

• Please arrive on time. Sessions cannot be extended if you arrive late.

• You must vacate the room promptly at the end of your session to allow for changeover and cleaning.

• Only the booked room and communal areas may be used.

 

4. Conduct & Fair Use

​

• Habitat Studios is a shared creative environment. We expect all clients to behave respectfully toward staff, other musicians, and the space.

• Excessive volume, disruptive behaviour, or misuse of equipment may result in immediate termination of your session without refund.

• Smoking, vaping, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.

 

5. Equipment Use

​

• All equipment provided by Habitat Studios must be used responsibly and for its intended purpose.

• If you are unsure how to operate any equipment, please ask a member of staff before use.

• Personal equipment is brought at your own risk.

 

6. Damage & Fair Use Agreement

​

To keep the studio safe, functional, and affordable for everyone, we operate under a Fair Use Damage Policy:

6.1 Fair Use

​

• We understand that rehearsal spaces experience normal wear and tear.

• Minor cosmetic marks or general usage that occurs through reasonable, responsible use of the room and equipment will not incur charges.

 

6.2 Damage Liability

​

You may be held financially responsible if:

​

• Equipment is damaged due to misuse, negligence, or behaviour outside normal rehearsal activity.

• Items are broken, removed, or rendered unusable.

• The room or equipment is left in a condition requiring excessive cleaning or repair.

 

6.3 Assessment & Charges

​

• Any damage will be assessed by Habitat Studios staff.

• Charges will reflect the actual cost of repair or replacement, not inflated penalties.

• You will be notified of any charges with a breakdown of costs.

• Failure to pay may result in suspension of future bookings.

 

7. Personal Belongings

​

• Habitat Studios is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

• Please ensure you take all belongings with you at the end of your session.

 

8. Health & Safety

​

• Emergency exits must remain clear at all times.

• All clients must follow staff instructions in the event of an emergency.

• Any accidents, injuries, or hazards must be reported immediately.

 

9. Photography & Recording

​

• You are welcome to take photos or videos for personal or promotional use within your booked room and communal area in and around the building.

• Commercial filming or recording outside your rehearsal room is available to all.

 

10. Right to Refuse Service

​

Habitat Studios reserves the right to refuse bookings or remove clients from the premises if behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or in violation of these Terms & Conditions.

11. Agreement

​

By booking and attending a rehearsal session at Habitat Studios, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
